Gala Dinner, Express Publicité 30th Anniversary - Jun 28, 2008
-
Photos by Manny Ardouin
This Saturday, June 28 2008 was not necessarily the date which replaces J ...more une 10 as the effective date of birth of the 1st Haitian Creole in Miami, Florida. This was the only date available in this grand venue that was appropriate for an event of this magnitude. The 30th Anniversary of Express Publicité, the Dean.
June 10, 1978 to June 10, 2008 represents 30 years of a long journey for Haitians who have struggled to make their community, an active participant in South Florida.
" Un peuple sans memoire est un peuple sans histoire". The 30th Anniversary must be the recognition of the Haitian Press and an occasion of remembrance for every one.
This Long venture will certainly continue with more intensity and assurance for all future victories. Let's wish to Carmelau & his staff: Bonne Fete from PIKLIZ.
