Gala Reception in honor of Bishop Guy Sansaricq, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Photos by Rachel Moscoso Denis

This is a historic and uplifting occasion for our church and community.
His appointment marks the first Haitian-American Bishop nomination to the US Catholic Church and the first black Bishop to serve in the Diocese of Brooklyn

Comme disent les Américains - Keep up the good work.

Let us be serious about anonymity: if he is a spokesperson then he is a public figure and must contend with recognition/publicity. Prayers for you and Msgr Pierre

The person in the center of this picture happens to be an important member of the clergy in Haiti who preserves his anonymity. He is Monsignor Pierre-André Pierre, current Pastor at Sacred Heart Church in Port-au-Prince. Monsignor Pierre is also the Secretary and Spokesperson of the "Conférence Episcopale d'Haiti".

Congratulations on successfully covering events, thus providing up-to-date information to readers and viewers and readers of Pikliz.com which I consult almost daily.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers

Most Reverend Guy A. Sansaricq, Auxiliary Bishop for the Diocese of Brooklyn & Queens
Bishop Guy is well deserving of this great call to the Episcopacy. He has been a dedicated and tireless worker in the Lord's vineyard. He is an honorable, compassionate, caring and gentle man who will be a continuous blessing to ALL of us who know and work with him and much more to those who are yet to know this wonderful individual.

May the Lord Bless him in his service to all people.
