J'ai fréquenté aussi le collège classique jusqu'en 1974-1975, et il me fait plaisir de revoir le visage de ' Maître Jean '. Que de bons souvenirs !!!!!

Je suis un ancien du collège et c'est avec plaisir que je revois les visages de tous ces anciens et plus spécialement celui de ' maître Jean ' qui à sa façon nous a tous marqués.

J'ai ete a l'ecole chez Les Freres du Sacre-Coeur au bicentenaire de 1956 a 1962 ou j'ai fait mes etudes primaires. Apres, j'ai ete au Lycee Alexandre Petion, Lycee Toussaint Louverture, College Philadelphia et retourne a Petion pour la Retho. J'ai laisse Haiti depuis plus de trente ans. J'essais de retrouver mes anciens amis de classe avec qui j'ai ete a l'ecole durant ces annees que je peux decrire comme les meilleurs annees de ma vie. J'aimerais etre en contact avec tout ceux qui m'ont connus durant ces annees, en particulier ceux avec qui j'ai ete a l'ecole chez les Freres du Sacre-Coeur, pour nommer quelques un d'entre eux comme Gregoire Roc, Yves Monchais, Frank Regina, Domond, Jean Robert Gaetan, Michaud, Garcia, Paul Gary Felix, Vieux, Noe, Laguerre, Bataille, Bontemps, Carl and Max Denerville, Fritz Durozeau, Hanz Cherubin, Angran, Jack Ambroise etc. Si l'un de vous connait l'un de ces gars, j'apprecierais bien qu'on me met en contact avec (eux ou lui) a mon addresse electronique adenis50@gmail.com Actuellement, j'habite en Europe avec ma famille mais je voyage assez souvent aux Etats Unis.

Max Penette owner of the school and Mayor of Petion Ville. He has two children Patrick and Maryse.

College Penette was located in Petion-Ville. It was one block away from a well-known church L'eglise St Pierre and Place St.Pierre where a lot of free concerts were held. The owner at the time was the mayor of petion-Ville.

Can someone tell me where was that school located? I never heard of it.

You are sure his name was Mathellier? Anyway, I am very sure that Vincent Vitiello is the one right next to maitre Max Dejean. [Vitiello was maitre Dejean's protege. I think he personally knew the Vitiello's family.

Maitre Maxo ( Max Dejean) is not in this picture. He is on the another picture on the next page on this site.

I 'm not so sure Maxo was working at St. Jean yet at the time of this picture. ( I'm not sure of that)...

In fact, both Maitre Maxo and Maitre St. Fleur, along with Maitre Netus and Frere Richard are on a picture
in this page: St. Jean L'Evangeliste- 10eme A- 1973-1974 school year.

The teacher looks like Maitre Maxo when he was young.

I clearly remembered the day we took this picture...
Everybody called him 'Maitre St. Fleur' 4th row L>R (without his glasses) put us in that order the picture was taken... He was a great guy... I hope he is still lliving...

And of course, on the other side is the Good Frere Bosquet who unfortunately suffered from a brain tumor, then.

Je suis tres fier de voir une foto de classe de Jean-Amrie Guilloux. Je ne me souviens pas de classe de 11eme. On commencait avec la 7eme jusqu'a la premiere.
Pouvez-vous me dire comment trouver d'autres fotos de classes des annees 1955 a 1962.

Les annees vecues avec les freres Victorien, Augustin, Rene etc et les prof. Cyrille, St Preux, Corriolan etc sont des annees inoubliables.

J'espere que vous m'ecrirez bientot
