Jennifer Adrien's Graduation Doctorate in Physical Therapy Photos by Jessie D'Meza Adrien
May 4, 2013

To my loving daughter Jenny,

I can hardly find the words to express to you this amazing feeling of ...more

joy and profound sadness in my heart today. Yesterday, you were my little girl with a bundle of joy, smiling and filled of dreams. Today, you are an amazing, smart women who never ceased to dream big. Jenny, your dream paid off. Today is your day and you have achieve the highest level of education one could ever dreamed to obtain. "Your Doctorate Degree, Dr. Jennifer Adrien". My hat goes to you and as your Dad , I am very proud of your accomplishment.

Then, there is a feeling of sadness present in my heart because of certain circumstances that are beyond my control. When you told me a month ago, the day of your graduation, I had visualize myself taking a plane to Tampa to attend my daughter extraordinary accomplishment and head back to Miami for the evening event that I planned over a year ago. My disappointment was huge upon finding out the time of the graduation was at the same time than the event. My heart became heavy and the anxiety and sadness I felt broke my heart into pieces. I hope you will understand my predicament and believe that it was one of the hardest decision I had to undertake. Sometimes, life throws unexpected circumstances that are truly beyond one's control. Even though, I am not physically present but I am living with you every moment of this milestone and sharing your joy.

I could not refrain to mention to you the importance of family in a moment like this. Throughout your life, you have been blessed with the gift of your family on your mother's side as well as on your father's side. Your sister Pascale, your two uncles Roger and Lyonel who is also your godfather, your two aunts Babeth and Judith, your godmother/aunt Josiane and your great mother in-law Jessie who are all in Tampa with you today to support you have been such a crucial part of your life each in their own way. I can not thank them enough for all they did in the course of your childhood till now. I also want to thank Michele Sambour who came from Haiti to show you her support being a close friend of your Mom who is no longer with us on earth. Thank you to each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

Jenny as you continue to embark in your journey, I want to remind you of these five factors of life that should be part of your daily life. Be humble, help others less fortunate than you, take time to give back to your community, support your peers in the workforce by teaching them how to grow and share your knowledge of your field with them, cherish the importance of your family who will always be your rock and finally be happy.

These are my words of wisdom as your Dad who is so proud of his daughter's milestone and love you dearly.

DAD.

♥♥ Le Conseil d'Administration des Amis de Montfort honore le Docteur Mario Nelson. ♥♥
Apr 28, 2013

♣Narration et concept: Frankie Morone.♣ ...more

ght's event at the famous Mirelle Restaurant in Long Island was one of them. Despite a slow start, the evening quickly turned around. In less than an hour, everything was cruising at a very high altitude.

Alix, also known as Dr. Lulux (pour les intimes), is a tireless and talented musician. Listening to his famous Jazz sextet playing is so enjoyable. The audience was outstanding. For those of you who did not make it, you really missed a great party. I suggest you attend the very next performance by Alix playing at Mirelle's. Get your tickets fast. I personally guarantee that you won't regret it. As usual, I am inviting you to view a few photos. Your comments are always welcome. Thank you for the visit.

outhern part of Miami particularly Kendall came nearly to a stop. As afficionados of "Les Difficiles de Pétion-Ville" were approaching Pikliz headquarters, it was virtually impossible to find a parking spot. One had to circle several times or patiently await for one. That is inconceivable in a residential neighborhood in Miami. One felt like there was some celebrities or VIP at pikliz headquarters. Indeed there was. Robert Martino and Henry Celestin as well as other well known musicians were there to enjoy an unforgettable CD Release event: the release of the latest Cd of Les Difficiles de Pétion-Ville. I really think Jenny made history and personally like to congratulate her for such a well planned afternoon: bravo Jenny; everything was almost perfect: the decor was impeccable, the atmosphere, the food and the crowd. While Robert and Henry were signing their new Cd, folks were enjoying either a glass of wine while savoring some "chictaille" which was the finest I have ever tried. Jenny, j'attends ta recette avec impatience.

I will be honest to everyone from all over the world. Upon entering my car to return home, I inserted the latest Cd of Les Difficiles de Pétion-Ville "Tande" into the player. The songs as well as recording are awesome. One cannot but revive the 70's and how great this period was. In addition, Ti Corn added a special touch to it. The Cd has 11 wonderful tracks. I personally guaranty it: you will not regret buying it. This compilation will be one of the best if not the best in your library.

Jenny once again, you put a great show and I am looking forward to the news ones. My utmost compliments; to Robert and Henry all the best. You deserve it. May this Cd like your previous ones be a success. For further information, you may contact the maestro at (509) 4414-2326 or (305) 900-0600. If all that fail, send him an email at rmar16@aol.com
You can contact Henry at (509)3846-8093.

I invite you to view a few pictures of that lovely event. As you know, we love to hear from you. Your comments are always very welcome. Thank you much for the visit and the best to everyone.
