Hersza is a Haitian National that started to paint as an adolescent in her native country of Haiti. Instead of following the traditional path of Haitians artists that mastered either “the Primitive”, “the Naïve” or “the Post-Modern Art”, she painted what Art critics describe as Art: a “visual literature”, “colors that speak”, or simply “Indigenous Art”.
Hersza’s soul creates the shape of what’s to come even before she thinks of what ‘s coming. Hersza inspiration comes from the love and the understanding of her ancestors. Her spiritually is not limited to one’s orientation but she believes that all humans are a component of a “One”; that all is in One as One is in all. She now resides in Florida with her family.
