    Victory S.C, 1961
    As a license coach with both US and Dutch certifications and a player developer I realized quickly that those players I idolized in my youth were really THAT GOOD. It is ironic that Victory's colors are the same as the  national team of Holland and Frank  Civil was a precursor of the Dutch way of playing football which has been copied at Barcelona, Bayern and now  being implemented at Manchester City by Pep Guardiola, the student of the late genius Johan Cruyff. Frank Civil who in my book is one of the greatest coach in football history had created a football academy at Victory where like at Ajax and Barcelona the style of play is the same regardless of the age group which makes it possible for a promising youngster to transition seemlessly from one category to the next. Two generations stand out; the sixties with Eric Faublas, Michel Morin, Noy Singer, Charles Alaby, Lucien Pierre, Tabuteau, Claude Nemorin and the seventies with Nono Jean-Baptiste, Malenkov Jean-michel, Gerald Jean, Carasco Edouard, Raphael Alexis, Reggie Vielot, Guy Allen. Having played for three years with Epervier noir in the youth league createdin 1960 and managed by a GREAT  UNAPPRECIATED and FORGOTTEN HAITIAN, EMMANUEL COICOU, I had the opportunity to admire first hand such great Frank Civil youth products such as Lyonel Laforest, Gerald Lalanne, Frantz Pierre, Toto Pierrot, Gerard Pilier, Fausto Lefevre, Raymond Cadet, Edouard Abellard, and so many more who examplified the teaching of the man like Haiti no longer seem to be able to produce, a man of UNPARALLED INTEGRITY.

    C'était l'équipe de ma jeunesse, cette période me manque. Que sont devenus tous les joueurs de l'équipe nationale de 1974?

    Selection Haitienne, (Year)
    Autrefois notre equipe nationale de football avait des joueurs bien portant...regardez...regardez... et pouquoi pas de nos jours. On voit qu'ils avaient une tenure disciplinaire. Ce sont avec de telle posture d'homme que l'on peut conquérir. Non pas avec de petit nain à "bab" mal fagoté. J'espère que le ministre du sport voit cette photo.

        malgre la corpulence des ces athletes que vous avez sous les yeux avec la photo Haiti etait tres faible en football a l'epoque; cette equipe que vous avez sous les yeux remonte a 1953; elle a ete battue ce jour la 8-0 par le Mexique; quelques jours avant elle avait ete battue 13-0 aussi par l'AUSTRIA DE VIENNE A PORT AU PRINCE;

    One of the greatest left wings who ever played the game. As a child, I witnessed his genius when he played against the great teams of Victory and Aigle Noir. A rare imagination as a dribbler and a powerful left foot... I thank you for reawakening so many golden memories.

    Violette Athletic Club, 1966
    That was one hell of a team. Wilfrid Soray the midfield genius was missing. Phillipe was playing sweeper in those days.  That team inflicted one of the two worst defeats that RCH was handed in the Coupe Pradel in the golden 60s. The final score was 5-2. The front line of Marc Antoine, Ti nene, Calixte and Ti Gabriel was literally unstopable.
