Welcome to the exotically beautiful island of St. Kitts. Unlike the other islands in the Caribbean, St. Kitts embodies a kind of lush tropical paradise usually associated with the South Pacific.
The atmosphere here is palpably luxuriant. The people are happy and have a great mentality. I had an interesting conversation with a pharmacist and honestly they have great aspirations. I visited several stores and while in some of them, I thought I was in the USof A.
The landscape is no different than the other islands. Arrid in some parts and emerauld green in some other places. It is an intoxicating blend of cactus( very dry) land and fantastically abundant vegetation.
I invite you to take pictorial tour of the island. I wish I were able to take more pictures. However the capacity of my memory stick was running a bit low. Enjoy and if you so desire make a comment.

Antigua is a beautiful island situated not too far from Puerto Rico. The island's circumference is roughly 54 miles and its area 108 square miles. Its population is about 69,000. It is the largest of the Leeward Islands, and the most developed and prosperous due to its upscale tourism industry, internet gambling services and education services, including two medical schools. The main sports are cricket and soccer
About 31,000 people live in the town of St. John's.The capital is situated in the northwest, near the International Airport, and has a deep harbour which is able to accommodate large cruise ships.
The southeastern coast is famous for its historic colonial naval station called "Nelson's Dockyard". You will see some pictures of that site. It is awesome and while visiting one can hear locals playing steel drums so smooth that you would think the sound is from an organ. Do not forget to taste the local rum.

| | Pikliz.com | - St. Thomas by Frankie Morone.
- Mar 21, 2008
St. Thomas combines the natural beauty of the islands with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is one of the most beautiful harbors in the world and the most visited port in the Caribbean. It located in the center of the island and on the South shore.
Elegant dining,(lambie is a must) exciting nightlife (steel band combos), and duty-free shopping are abundant in Charlotte Amalie. Also do not forget the liquor tasting. Rum from all over the Caribbean can be tried. The city's reputation as the shopping mecca of the Caribbean draws visitors from all over the region and around the world. Charlotte Amalie is simply awesome and full of energy.
St. Thomas is a mountainous island. It offers stunning views in almost every direction. The people there are lovely. As you may be aware many St Thomians emigrated to Haiti during the reign of President Geffrard (1859- 1867) My paternal great grand mother moved to Haiti with her 2 sons( my grand father) from that island in 1866.
I personally invite you to take a pictorial view of Charlotte Amalie. See for yourself and if you so desire post a comment. St Thomas is the place to be.

Barbados's total land area is about 166 square miles, and is primarily low-lying, with some higher regions in the island's interior. The island's climate is tropical, with constant trade winds off the Atlantic Ocean serving to keep temperatures mild. Some more undeveloped areas of the country contain tropical woodland. Other parts of the interior which contribute to the agriculture industry are dotted with large sugar cane plantations.

Barbados's human development index ranking is consistently among the top 50 in the world. For example, in 2006, it was ranked 31st in the world, and third in the Americas, behind Canada and the United States.

| | Pikliz.com | - St. Marteen / St. Martin by Frankie Morone.
- Mar 29, 2008
L' île de St. Martin / St Marteen Island The smallest island in the world ever that is partitioned between two different nations, St. Martin or St. Maarten has been shared by the French and the Dutch for almost 350 years.
The border is almost imperceptible and people cross back and forth without ever realizing they are entering a new country. Most of the natives speak Dutch, French and of courses English.
On the same token, each side has managed to retain much of the distinctiveness of its own national culture:The French tend to emphasize comfort and elegance( la joie de vivre). The beaches are secluded, (nude sometimes) and the luxury resorts provide lavish accommodations. The restaurants offer the finest dining experiences. ( Lambi Boukané, Banane pesée,baignets; ce bon BAGAYE )
The latest French fashions can be found in many of the shops and boutiques. The smell of fresh croissants and pastries makes your mouth water. To me it was torture because my main diet consists of "starch". Small cafés and charming bistros and cozy retaurants. On the whole the atmosphere remains very relaxed. Zouk music ap joué bien fort toute coté. Ou ta komprann que ou en Haiti.
Between the two different cultures in St. Martin and St. Maarten, tourists will be able to find just about every kind of activity they might want for a perfect vacation in the sun.
Located midway through the chain of islands St. Martin is sunny and hot all year. I invite you to take a tour of the Island. Make a comment if you so desire.
